Vengeance filled his mind, as he stood outside W-KRG radio station. He clenched both fists on a stack of paper, trying his hardest to tear the stack in two. He couldn’t. Ian after a lengthy struggle threw away the pile of papers, which he had spent hours on the previous night. Writing down his plans, hot topics in his mind to discuss his hardcore division. Except they never gave him a chance; cut him off every opportunity.
Footsteps near in the distance, as Ian Echo looked up and spotted Rosalind Burger approaching.
Rosalind Burger: Hello Ian!
He didn’t respond with words, but with a look of anger. His fingers locked tightly around her throat as he applied pressure, squeezing the life out of here. Her hands fought with his hands, but he was stronger than here, marginally stronger than her. He smiled at the sound of her gasping for breath; it was soothing to his ears.
Rosalind Burger: IAN!
He snapped out of the daydream; hiding his look of displeasure with a smile.
Ian Echo: Why hello Ms. Burger?
Rosalind Burger: Is everything okay Ian, you looked upset?
Ian Echo: No, no, no everything is marvelous.
He slammed the tips of his fingers against his temples.
Ian Echo: You know me, just lost in my mind.
He laughed, and she gave him a worried looking smile.
Rosalind Burger: Okay, but Ian, if you ever feel like you need to sit down and talk. Know even though you’re no longer enrolled in the Holston High School, my door is always open for you.
Ian Echo: Thank you, Ms. Burger, but I can assure everything is fine.
Rosalind Burger: Alright Ian. Get home safely will you.
Ian Echo: Oh I will.
Rosalind Burger: Well Mr. Echo, have yourself a good night.
Ian Echo: And you as well.
He gave her a bow, as Rosalind continued her way.
His smile faded when she turned and walked away, as he held his fingers up in a gun shape directed towards the back of her head.
Ian Echo: Bang.
In the darkness behind him, Oddball stepped out.
Oddball: Well that. Didn’t go as planned, now did it.
Ian turned to face the man, which he had met the previous night. A man that claimed he knew his father, and could help him behind the scenes, and make the hardcore division something out of nothing.
Ian Echo: No.
Oddball: No worries, I always, and I do always mean, always, have a backup plan. A great plan, or like you mention to that lady, marvelous… a marvelous plan. Yes, a MARVELOUS plan. I'm good like that... Plans.
Ian Echo: And what is that.
Oddball: Road trip, I have some people I would like to introduce you too.
