Brief Character Overview:
Calvin Kendrick is an asshole. An accomplished wrestler? Yes. A gifted athlete with natural physical abilities? Absolutely. But at the end of the day, he's an asshole, and if he was not a former Husky, few in the town would like him.
But he is a former Husky, and has contributed to many magic moments in Holston Wrestling history, and therefore he does have the support of the town.
Remember O'Banion from Dazed and Confused? That's Calvin Kendrick. Got left back intentionally to have a year of maturity on opponents in high school. He's the guy who loves hazing the feshman and hits on anything in a skirt. He's that guy who was part of the in crowd, but even those within his circle really didn't like him.
Provide Brief Commentary Regarding Your Wrestler's Views on:
(1) Authority / Wrestletown Management. In Calvin's mind, he is doing Coach McVeigh and the entire Wrestletown organization and Holston Community a favor for even being on the roster. He genuinely believes that. He also does have a great deal of town pride, and believes it is his duty to lay down the law right off the bat for these newcomers visiting his home town.
(2) Other Wrestlers. Calvin intends to approach his pro matches the same way he approached his amateur matches. He does not have the slick technique at C.J. Nucifora possesses, but he is scrappy and had has the strength of an ox. He will seek to bully opponents, and will never show an opponent respect, friend or foe.
(3) The Sport in General. He loves the sport and recognizes that if it was not for wrestling, and is stature as a former member of the Huskies, he would have no regard in the community.
(4) The Fans in General / the Townies of Holston. He considers himself to be a rock star, and assumes that everyone in the town agrees.
