Hey all,
Just wanted to provide a few updates and notes as we head into the first PPV:
1. Card Change. There will be slight changes to the PPV card, which we will post tonight. Of course, all cards are "subject to change," so the card that takes place can always change based upon in character events up to and on the evening of the event. So that you understand, the reason why we reserve the right to change the card is because the outcome of the matches at the PPV will be based on the level of activity over the next two weeks. If Fighter A is scheduled to take in Fighter B, and Fighter C is scheduled to take on Fighter D, and Fighter A and B are super active, while C and D are not active at all, something "in character" may cause the card to change to give Fighters A and B wins and C and D losses.
This brings me to the second point.
2. For the PPV, results will be activity driven. We need to try something to incentivize activity, so There will both the amount of time a fighter gets at the PPV show, as well as success at the show, will depend upon how active the fighter is.
There will be many different ways for handlers to be active in the two weeks leading up to the PPV.
--Social timeline
--General roleplays
--Aftermatch Assignments (coming tonight)
--Picbase Assignments (coming tonight)
--Interviews (if you want one, DM me)
--Twitter activity
So that's it for now. Any suggestions, as always, feel free to send me a message or post in the OOC board. Thanks.
