Bucky Reese: Welcome folks to Wrestletalk, where we talk Holston wrestling and Wrestletown. All wrestling-- all the time. I'm your host, Bucky Reese, and today we have some special guests. We're also gonna open up our lines for any callers. Starting us off today, we've got a man who caused a lot of commotion this past week as Wrestletown put on its opening show, and a man who has made a new enemy in Jack Evans. I'm talking of course about former multiple Pennsylvania state champ, Colton Woods. Colton, welcome to the show.
Colton Woods: Thanks for having me on.
Bucky Reese: Now let's get right into this. What the hell was that about last week? It seemed like you and Jack Evans had formed a bond, and then out of nowhere, you completed turned on him in the middle of the ring as he was trying to fend off Sunshine, Inc.
Colton Woods: Buck, let's make one thing clear. This is a business. Evans seems like a good enough guy-- a little too vanilla for me, but whatever. But at the end of the day, Colton Woods has to do what's best for Colton Woods.
Of course this town was gonna embrace me. I was the only game in town. C.J. Nucifora had long bailed on this town. I was the only local wrestler with pro experience. But don't get it twisted-- I never was and never will be a Holston Husky. But now, this town is being invaded. You see, everyone is focused on the economic growth expected from the emergence of Wrestletown, but what they fail to see is that this is gonna come at the price of community. This was always a single, unified community. But now with all of the outsiders, things are starting to change. Factions are started to form. There is dissension. You think that the Holston community like Calvin Kendrick anymore? Hell no. Why? Because he's not fighting as a Husky or for Holston. He fights for himself.
Evan Wolfe: Hold on. All this tiresome prattle is beginning to irritate me. Are we all going back in time to high school with the silly turf war on who wears a gay wrestling singlet better? Oh, pardon the interruption. Bucky Reese, do yourself a favor and introduce me.
Colton Woods: This goes beyond a silly high school turf war. These people in Holston are fanatics. I mean, where the hell else do you find a radio station devoted to high school wrestling? Do these people need to get lives? Absolutely. Is their fanaticism real?
Bucky Reese: Joining us at this time is former IWA standout and entrepreneur, Evan Wolfe
.
Evan Wolfe: Soon, Buck. Sometimes you have to dangle the carrot in front of the mule for it to get motivated.
Bucky Reese: Well Evan, it seems like you touched upon a very hot button question, as we have Wrestletown founder and the "Dean of Reality Television" Dean Willard, wasting no time to call in to answer your question.
Evan Wolfe: Fire away, (beep)
Dean Willard: We've got the talent on a local level. The talent is starting to come in on a national level. We've got former champions. We've got Olympic hopefuls.
Evan Wolfe: That you do.
Dean Willard: As far as exposure, the success of our Wrestletown Documentary several years ago speaks for itself. It was a cult hit, and put this town on the map.
Evan Wolfe: Don’t stop patting yourself on the back, Dan.
Dean Willard: You asked a question, I'm answering it. And I'm not patting myself on the back. I can't wrestle for shit. But I can produce and market
Jack Evans: It shows what type of person Colton is, what type of person Marty Sunshine and his gang are, when they put their "business" in front of this great opportunity. In front of these great fans. Shameful.
Colton Woods: Jack, you must have taken a harder shot this week than I thought because you're comprehending what I am saying like a man with a concussion. So let me clarify...I love the invasion. I welcome the invasion with open arms. You have no idea what it's like having to live among these freaks. "Holston this" and "Holston that." Variety is the spice of life, and Marty and his gang are about to spice things up.
Bucky Reese: Things are heating up here, folks, and before we go to a commercial break, let me ask. When are we gonna see Colton Woods and Jack Evans settle this thing inside of a ring?
Jack Evans: The fans don't care about Priscilla Price. The fans don't want to hear Carter Hayes whine. The fans don't want to see some crazed Russian punch people. The fans want wrestling. You, of all people, should know that.8 minutes ago

Colton Woods: Simple. As soon as Jack Evans has the sac to man up and face his biggest fears-- of stepping in the ring with the man he knows can put the final nail in the coffin of his career. So, to answer your question-- probably never.
Colton Woods: Thanks for having me on.
