Kolin Daire headed straight to the back after having dispatched of Calvin Kendrick, not even realizing that Cindy Stevens was following behind him. He got to the dressing rooms, opened up the door and finally noticed Cindy was right behind him.
"Uh, I think this locker room is just for the guys."
"Oh, I thought we were going back here so you could go ahead and have your prize. Did you want to go back to your place, or mine instead?"
Kolin looks at her with confusion, causing Cindy to laugh a little bit.
"Caspar said the winner got me for the night, you won."
Kolin looked at Cindy and could tell that while she was willing to go through with whatever his plans were, she wasn't exactly thrilled about it.
"Cindy, I didn't beat the hell out of that asshole, to win you. He deserved that and more for what he did. This just happened to be the best place and time to get him."
Cindy looked up at him, surprised that he didn't already have her half naked.
"I still owe you something, plus if I don't, Caspar is gonna get all pissed and probably take more of my tips as some kind of payment or something."
Kolin sighed and looked down to the ground for a second.
"That's bullshit. I don't want him to do that, so I've got an idea. Let me just change real quick, and I'll be back out."
Cindy nodded her head and Kolin walked in to change. A few minutes went by with Cindy standing in the back, getting some strange looks from the crew, many of who knew her from school, and a few who knew her from the strip club. Kolin came back out in a simple pair of jeans and a nice black button up shirt.
"You look nice."
"Thanks."
"So what's this idea?"
"When's the last time someone took you out for dinner and actually talked to you?"
Cindy looked over to Kolin and without a word wrapped her arms around him for a hug.
"Don't be too excited, I'm not the best conversationalist."
Cindy laughed a little bit and smiled as they headed out of the arena. Kolin opened the door to his black 2009 Ford Escape. He closed the door, tossed his bag in the back, and got in.
"So, where is a good place for dinner? You know the town better than me."
Cindy looked a little nervous, but Kolin placed his hand on her shoulder and she relaxed.
"Don't need to worry about people talking. I don't care what they say about me, and if anyone says anything to you, well I'm sure most of them saw what happened to Kendrick."
She laughed again, and relaxed a little bit more.
"Probably the Steel Mill."
"Sounds good."
Kolin started the car and headed out for what was his and probably Cindy's first actual date in quite some time.
