BIOGRAPHY
The wrestling history of Chris Shields is paved with moments both incredible and awful. From debuting on his 18th birthday as a fresh faced young rookie who would win his first World title just three years later and celebrating with the crowd, to becoming a corporate sell out who shilled everything from swimwear to motor oil, then turning into a drunken hard partying buffoon, who seemingly had his career cut short by cancer, but managed to return and used the fact he overcame the disease to become one of the most obnoxious men on the planet, but karma felt fit to strike and it returned. He spent a long while out, but with the caner officially gone, he returned, slimmed down and "pretty". He looked to be back to his obnoxious ways, but after a savage beating that saw him practically crucified inside of the ring, compete with a crown of barbed wire, the fans started to embrace him as he fought back, gained his vengeance, and slowly became the hero that wrestling needed. He was set to retire after several brutal contests with some of the most blood thirsty men wrestling had ever seen. With the emergence of WrestleTown, he sees a place that may be bringing back real wrestling, and that is the kind of place that can use the Squared Circle Superhero.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
Ring Gear - Trunks that will vary in color depending on the superhero motif of the week. The one present will be the S that is worked into the iconic symbol. Knee & kick pads that are reminiscent of the classic costume.
(Ex1: Superman outfit would be blue trunks with the classic red & yellow shield, and red knee/kickpads)
(Ex2: Wolverine outfit would be blue trunks with red belt trim and a black "buckle" with an S instead of the X, blue knee & kick pads, with yellow "claw trim")
Entrance Gear - Entrance attire will vary depending on the chosen hero of the week.
(Ex1: Superman Entrance will be a simple red cape.)
(EX2: Wolverine entrance attire would be a simple leather jacket)
Ring Entrance - The lights dim and suddenly go out as warning sirens begin to blare and emergency lights start to flash. Static cuts in and then "HELP US! WE NEED A HERO!" cuts through the static. After a few seconds, "Cape of Our Hero" begins to play and a spotlight shines up into the crowd to show Chris Shields in the super hero inspired look of the week. He raises his hand high and let's out a yell, which the crowd gleefully joins in on. He heads down the steps, high fiving fans along the way. He hops over the barricade, and then finds one of the young fans to give his Wounded Warrior Project dog tag necklace to, before sliding into the ring and removing his entrance gear.
