Dean Willard
Bobby "Bubba" McVeigh
Clayton Cobb
Cobb is also one of many names that turned up in the black book of tabloid sensation-turned-wrestler "Metropolitan Mistress" Priscilla Price. Cobb is known for going to any extreme necessary to boost ratings.
Many are speculating that Willard has approved McVeigh's leadership role because he hopes that McVeigh will use his close-knit relationship with former Huskies standout (and current two time All-American at Penn State) C.J. Nucifora to lure him onto the roster.
C.J. Nucifora
Nucifora, a 2010 graduate of Holston High School, is the embodiment of Huskies wrestling, going undefeated over four seasons, and winning the adoration of an entire community. It is expected that with his final college season having wrapped up, Nucifora would have his eyes set on Rio in 2016. However, those close to Nucifora know that he has always maintained a strong bond with his former coach, and rumors have circulated that McVeigh has reached out to his former star pupil to be the face of the organization.
Wrestletown is slated to open its doors in a few weeks, with roster slots being made available to local and outside talent alike.
The Pennsylvania Assembly, Eastern District 17, unanimously passed a bill yesterday that will bring professional wrestling to Holston, Pennsylvania-- a project intended to infuse the community with much needed revenue and hopefully spark the economy of this once promising town that has struggled through the recession over the last several years.
The name of the project is "Wrestletown," a term given to the small Holston community following the 2010 documentary that followed the town's high school wrestling program and the community that passionately-- some would say fanatically-- threw its support behind the program, year after year, as if was a professional sports franchise. The "Wrestletown" documentary was the vanity project of media mogul / wrestling aficionado "Reality" Dean Willard (the self-professed "Dean of Reality Television").
For the last nine years, Holston has been the number one ranked team in the country, boasting an undefeated record of 162-0, and churning out a record 30 state champions during the same stretch.

Dean Willard
"This community is something special. Think about what football is in Texas. Think about what hockey is in Canada. Magnify that tenfold and you begin to have an idea of what wrestling means to Holston," explained Willard during a press conference to unveil to bill. "This is a community with a hall of fame devoted to its high school wrestling standouts. If you wrestle in Holston, you are a known commodity, among the children, the adults and the senior citizens. It is that type of community."
The hope is that by bringing professional wrestling to the town, it will serve as a platform for home grown talent to shine, while at the same time bringing in top caliber talent throughout the world. It is reported that Willard, who has made a fortune producing various reality television projects, sat down with Holston Mayor Henry "Hank" Murdoch to crunch numbers, and the anticipated revenue from tourism could provide this proud, but financial stagnant town with enough economic relief to take it out of the recession.
Mayor Henry "Hank Murdoch"Everyone loves a good Cinderella story," Mayor Murdoch professed, "and in this case, Cinderella is the Holston community, a community that I expect will band together and support the project and the local talent that takes part in the project. Wrestling is in our blood. Wrestling is what this community knows best, and wrestling is what will lead this community out of its financial drought."
In a somewhat controversial move that drawn critics and proponents alike, Mayor Murdoch has successfully negotiated with Willard for Huskies Varsity Wrestling Coach Bobby and lifelong Holston resident "Bubba" McVeigh to serve as the president of Wrestletown. This move has many up in arms. Some criticize the move because it means that McVeigh, the most successful coach in Holston's history, will have to step down as coach of the Huskies.
Bobby "Bubba" McVeigh
Others take issue over McVeigh's lack of knowledge and experience with professional wrestling industry. "Everyone loves McVeigh. McVeigh's a nice guy. You know what happens to nice guys in pro wrestling?" Asked W-KRJ radio talk show host Bernie Banks, who has been covering Huskies wrestling for the last ten years, and whose station will be covering Wrestletown. "They get eaten alive-- by the managers, the valets, and the wrestlers. What happens the first time an incident occurs in Holston like what we say a few months back in Washington with Carter Hayes's gym with the whole Jack Owyns / Dakota Smith fiaco? There is a big difference between mat wrestling and ring wrestling-- and I'm afraid Bubba McVeigh and the entire town of Holston have no idea what they are in for."
While Willard has handed over the reigns to McVeigh, Willard has also hand selected McVeigh's second in command, former super agent Clayton Cobb, who has worked with Willard for years, and who is perhaps most notoriously known for his role in the "Reality-Gate" scandal that plagued Spike television several years ago.
